The 11th annual Steve Squibb Memorial Scranton Kids Fishing Day was held Saturday, June 3, at the Scranton Pond Park. A good-sized group of youngsters and their parents enjoyed guest speakers with some lucky door prize winners.
Following the educational portion of the program, the youngsters and parents cast their lines into the pond. Some were lucky to catch fish while others gave it a good try. Smiles were more abundant than the fish. ~courtesy of The Scranton Journal
